Our Commitment to Change
The Mission
To empower justice-involved individuals and underserved communities to achieve sustainable employment, economic independence, and successful community reintegration through high-quality workforce development and supportive services.
Our Vision
Choices - Transformative & Meaningful Journeys (TMJ) is committed to enhancing access to education and job opportunities for justice-involved individuals and community members. We believe in the power of transformation through education.
Through our programs, we guide individuals towards stability and dignity while fostering community well-being. Our mission is to break down barriers, create pathways, and facilitate personal growth and employment opportunities.

Our Services
We provide a comprehensive, person-centered continuum of care designed to support justice-impacted individuals and underserved communities from stabilization through long-term economic mobility.
Workforce Development and Career Pathways
Preparing for Success
We provide a comprehensive, person-centered continuum of care designed to support justice-impacted individuals and underserved communities from stabilization through long-term economic mobility.
Financial Empowerment & Housing Stability
Economic and Basic Stabilization
Participants receive targeted financial counseling, budgeting support, and access to safe housing pathways. We focus on building assets, reducing debt, and creating long-term housing security.
Neighborhood Involvement
Engagement Matters
We actively engage with community members to create programs that serve their needs, fostering a sense of belonging and support.
Stabilization and Reentry Support
Supportive Pathway
We begin with immediate needs—connecting participants to housing resources, benefits, identification, and essential services. Through individualized case management and transition planning (including pre-release engagement), we ensure every participant has a clear, supported pathway forward.
Cognitive Behavioral & Life Skills Programming
Skills and Mechanisms
Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT-informed interventions (including Thinking for a Change), we help participants build decision-making skills, emotional regulation, and pro-social thinking patterns that support long-term success.
Health, Wellness & Civic Engagement
Self-Care and Wellness
We integrate health education, mental wellness support, and civic engagement programming—including voter education—to empower participants as informed, healthy, and active members of their communities.
Education
Learning Opportunities
Our educational programs are designed to enhance skills and knowledge, helping individuals thrive in their personal and professional endeavors.
Community-Based Support & Peer Engagement
Progress and Support Network
Through support groups, mentorship, and community-based programming, participants build positive networks, strengthen identity, and sustain progress beyond program completion.

Our Impact
We are building pathways to transformation—for individuals, families, and communities. Our work goes beyond immediate support to create lasting change: stabilizing lives through access to housing and essential resources, unlocking economic mobility through workforce development, and reshaping decision-making through evidence-based behavioral interventions.
Participants leave not only with jobs, but with the skills, confidence, and agency to sustain and grow their success. As system involvement decreases and opportunity expands, the ripple effects are profound—stronger families, safer communities, and a future where individuals are empowered to thrive, contribute, and lead.
